Colleen was born in Omaha, NE, and raised with a deep love of Husker football and Runzas.

She graduated from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she created her own major: "Creation and Control of Entertainment Culture,” which examined the responsibility of the producer when creating new content. After college, she studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and the William Esper Studio in New York. She has spent the last several years creating new roles and putting her spin on the classics in Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway shows in the city, in addition to starring in several commercials, feature films, web series, and short films.

Colleen recently moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA’s Professional Program in Acting for the Camera, as well as Producing. After twelve cold, New York winters, it was time for some sunshine.

Colleen is currently attending the American Film Institute as a Producing Fellow. In addition to school, she is currently in development on her script "Killer Clean", optioned by Imagilore Productions.

Her feature film "Nemesis" will be available on iTunes and other streaming platforms this September.
